Loot
Module: Loot
Opens the corpse of what you killed only when something you want was left inside, takes it into your main backpack and closes the corpse. It reads the game’s “Loot of” message, so it works together with the game’s own auto-loot: what the game already picked up is never chased. The Cavebot waits while it loots.

Loot
Opens the corpses of your kills, takes what you want and closes them. Works with the game's auto-loot.

How to turn it on
- 1Turn on Direct Controls (General page): Loot only works with it.
- 2Click Bot, then ⤢ (All settings) and pick Loot in the list.
- 3Choose what to take: coins, anything worth at least N gp, and the items you always (or never) want. Add the items you don’t want to carry to “Drop on the ground”.
- 4Set how much capacity to keep free.
- 5Turn Loot on with its switch, and hunt with Target (and the Cavebot) as usual.
Settings, one by one
Corpses
Only the corpses of your own kills. A corpse where the game’s auto-loot already took everything is skipped.
Open without the loot message
If the game’s “Loot of” message does not arrive, still open the corpse of your kill.
Values: On / Off (default On).
ExampleOn
Close the corpse when done
Closes the corpse window after looting. The game closes the oldest window when more than 5 are open, so this keeps your backpacks open.
Values: On / Off (default On).
ExampleOn
Walk to the corpse when Loot is off
Only with Loot off: after killing from a distance, the bot steps next to the body for up to 5 s, to help the game’s auto-loot (this was “Step to the corpse” on the Target page).
Values: On / Off (default Off).
ExampleOn if you only use the game’s auto-loot
What to take
Coins
Gold, platinum and crystal coins.
Values: On / Off (default On).
ExampleOn
Anything worth at least … gp
Any item an NPC buys for at least this much (the best NPC price).
Values: 1 to 10,000,000. Default: On, 500.
Example1000
Always take
Items you always want, even when cheap. Search by name and click the item. Items on the game’s premium Loot List left in the corpse are always taken too.
Values: Up to 200 items.
Exampledragon ham, small diamond
Never take
Items to leave in the corpse even when they match another rule.
Values: Up to 200 items.
Exampleleather legs
Drop on the ground
Items you don’t want to carry. When one of them is in an open backpack (the game’s auto-loot put it there, or you picked it up), the bot stops for a moment and drops it on the floor under your character, one at a time. These items are never taken from a corpse. Bags are never dropped, because they may hold your loot.
Values: Up to 200 items. An item is on one list only: adding it here takes it out of Always take and Never take.
Examplespear, studded armor
Where it goes
Keep at least … oz free
An item that would leave less free capacity than this stays in the corpse (a stack is taken in part).
Values: 0 to 10,000. Default: 50.
Example100
This session
How much the Loot took since you started (value by the NPC price), the best items and how many items it dropped on the ground.
Values: Read only.
ExampleLooted 12.340 gp in 37 items
Ready example — a knight hunting trolls
- General: Direct Controls on. In the game: Hub → Automations → gold on.
- Loot: Coins off (the game already takes gold), anything worth at least 500 gp, Always take: troll green.
- Turn on Target, the Cavebot and Loot: after each kill the bot opens the corpse only if something worth it is inside, takes it and moves on.
Lock your main backpack window in the game (the padlock): the game never closes a locked window, even with many corpses open.
With Eat Food on, the bot eats the food in the corpse first when you are hungry.
Drop on the ground only works while you are not fighting and standing still: the Cavebot stops for a moment, the bot drops the item and the hunt goes on. The GM Detector knows those items were yours and never treats them as the anti-bot item.
Loot never touches the anti-bot item that appears next to you on the ground: the GM Detector handles it.
